Introducing Dr. Tira Harney Clay, Ph.D., M.S., LCPC-NCCA. She is a highly accomplished Doctor of Behavioral Medicine and a licensed Clinical Christian/Pastoral Counselor, as well as a Certified Christian Counselor. With her extensive expertise, she leads initiatives in promoting mental health and wellness.
She also serves as the Director of Neurotherapy at Mind and Motion Developmental Centers of Georgia. With deep expertise in brain-behavior relationships, trauma and grief recovery, and evidence-based neurotherapy, Dr. Clay specializes in helping individuals understand how grief, loss, and significant life transitions reshape the brain—and how healing can be intentionally restored. Her work bridges neuroscience, mental wellness, faith-informed care, and compassionate storytelling, offering audiences clarity, validation, and practical tools they can use immediately.
Join Dr. Clay as special guest speaker as she creates a safe and uplifting atmosphere for those experiencing widowhood, divorce, or the ache of unwanted change. She is known for bringing warmth, authenticity, and disarming humor to topics that often carry immense emotional weight. Her message reminds audiences that while grief can alter cognition, mood, identity, the brain is inherently wired for hope, renewal, and joy.
Blending science with soul, she invites listeners to view their healing not as weakness but as evidence of profound resilience. Attendees will also have the opportunity to secure copies of her influential book, Killed Between Two Crosses, and her devotional, Crowned Between the Crosses, both of which offer deeply personal reflections on loss, faith, and restoration.
